1、 Raw material preparation and loading
Material selection
Choose thermoplastic materials such as PVC and ABS to ensure the flexibility, heat resistance, and printing adaptability of the card base.
The raw materials must comply with ISO standards, and the thickness is usually 0.76mm ± 0.08mm.
Automatic feeding system
The roll or sheet enters the production line through the conveyor belt, and the sensor monitors the material position and tension in real time to avoid deviation or breakage.
2、 Layering and milling groove
Lamination process
Multi layer materials (fabric, intermediate layer, substrate) are laminated at high temperature and high pressure (90 ℃/4 ℃) to form an integral card base.
The laminating machine is equipped with a temperature control system to ensure uniform heating of the material and avoid bubbles or delamination.
Milling groove processing
After lamination, the card base enters the CNC milling machine and a stepped chip slot is milled according to the chip size (such as 12.04mm × 13.04mm).
High precision servo motor controls the depth of milling cutters, with an error of ≤± 0.01mm, ensuring the accuracy of chip installation.
3、 Chip packaging and testing
Chip implantation
The chip is implanted into the card slot through an automatic placement machine, and the curing temperature of the hot melt adhesive is controlled at 150 ℃± 5 ℃ to ensure the bonding strength.
Quality Inspection
Visual inspection: Machine vision systems recognize the position, orientation, and surface defects of chips.
Electrical testing: Test the electrical connection between the chip and the card base to ensure that the contact resistance is ≤ 1 Ω.
4、 Personalized printing and laminating
Personalized Printing
Using UV inkjet or screen printing technology to print cardholder information, patterns, and anti-counterfeiting labels on the surface of the card base.
The printing accuracy reaches 600dpi, and the color reproduction is ≥ 95%.
Film protection
Transparent PET film covers the printing layer through hot pressing process, enhancing wear resistance and waterproofing.
5、 Punching and Sorting
Punching and Forming
The whole card base is cut into individual cards by precision punching, with a size error of ≤± 0.05mm.
automatic sorting
After visual inspection, the finished cards are sorted by the robotic arm to the qualified or defective product channel, and the defective products are automatically removed.
6、 Packaging and output
automatic packaging
Qualified cards are packed into card sleeves or boxes through packaging machines, with a packaging speed of up to 5000 sheets per hour.
Data traceability
The production data of each card (such as time, batch, and test results) is uploaded to the MES system to achieve full process traceability.
7、 Technical features

Servo motors, high-precision sensors, and PLC control systems work together to ensure stable parameters in each process.
